Two kettles, taken from opposite ends of the range. The GK9901 is a 1.8L glass jug, a household kettle you can watch come to the boil, and the GK175 is a 0.5L body small enough for a desk, a bedsit or a bag on a trip between islands.

Capacity is really the only decision, and the sensible advice is to boil what you are about to pour. A large jug filled to the brim takes noticeably longer than a cup or two in the small one, so a house that drinks tea in ones and twos is often better off with the compact kettle and a second round. Either way, rinse the inside every few weeks and check that the lid opens far enough for your hand.
