Hisun microwave ovens at Night Owl

Two 20L countertop microwaves with the same cavity and a different front. SYTZ2001 is the manual one, two dials for power and time, nothing to learn and little to go wrong. SYTZ2002 is the digital version, with a keypad, a clock and preset settings for the jobs a microwave actually gets used for: reheating a plate, softening butter, defrosting fish straight out of the freezer.

How to choose

20L is the standard solo size and takes a dinner plate on the turntable with room to rotate; go smaller and the plate catches on the cavity wall. Between these two it comes down to habit. Dials suit anyone who dislikes menus and are easier to wipe down, while a keypad gets you an exact thirty seconds rather than a guess at a mark on a dial. Leave clearance at the back and sides either way, since the cavity vents its heat sideways.
