Hisun at Night Owl
Hisun is the brand Night Owl stocks deepest, and Night Owl is its sole distributor in the Maldives. The range is built around the kitchen: rice cookers from a 1L pot up to a 10L drum, built-in and portable gas stoves, infrared hot plates, glass kettles and airpots, air fryers, electric ovens, stand mixers and blenders. Past the kitchen door there are inverter refrigerators at 195L, 330L and 420L, countertop ice makers, 60cm range hoods, fans and a radio with a USB/SD player.
How to choose
Start from the size of the household. A 2.2L two-pot rice cooker and a 1.2L kettle suit two or three people; a 10L cooker and a 5L airpot are catering sizes. On the cooking side, settle gas against electric first: the gas stoves need a cylinder, a regulator and a hose, while the infrared plates run off a wall socket and take whatever pan is already in the cupboard.
