Nayasa Casseroles at Night Owl
Nayasa makes the insulated hot-pot that goes straight from the kitchen to the middle of the table. Two patterns share the same body here, Lorenzo and Bloom, and the Bethany set adds more than one size together, so rice can go in the large one and curry in the small without a second trip.
How to choose
A casserole holds heat, it does not make it. Food goes in at the temperature you want to serve it and the insulated wall slows the loss, which is why a pot filled hot and filled full stays warm far longer than one that is half empty. Size it to the meal you serve most weeks, not the largest thing you cook once a year, and keep the lid closed between servings.
- Lorenzo and Bloom: the same body, different finishes
- Bethany set: more than one size, stacking together
- Clamped lids hold the heat in and keep spills off the table on the way
- For serving only, never on a flame or in the oven
