Three Smarki range hoods are here, and all of them are made to sit under a wall cabinet above the stove. The SRS701B in black and the SRS701S in silver are under-cabinet hoods with a double motor and three speeds on push buttons. The SRS206 is a slide-out hood: its front pulls forward over the pans while you cook and slides back when you are done.

Plan the duct before you pick a finish. Each hood vents through a round duct, so check that there is a route from the cabinet above your stove to an outside wall. Hang the hood straight over the burners and at the full width of the stove, because it only clears the steam and smoke that rise into it.
