Smarki at Night Owl

Smarki is the fitted-kitchen brand on this site: gas hobs, the hoods that hang above them and one portable cooker. The hobs are the 4 burner SG45909 and three 2 burner bodies — SG27518, the narrower SG23201B and the freestanding SG27207E. The hoods are SRS701B in black, SRS701S in silver and the sliding SRS206.

The decision that matters is whether you are cutting the counter. A built-in hob drops into a cut-out and sits flush, which looks better and is easier to wipe around, but it commits you to that spot and to a gas line underneath. The SG27207E simply stands on the worktop, so it moves flats with you. If you are fitting a hob, settle the hood at the same time: it needs a wall or a cabinet above it and somewhere for the duct to go.
