DSP 1.8L Glass Electric Kettle - KK1129

Large 1.8 litre capacity: The jug holds a full 1.8 litres, which is enough for several mugs of tea or coffee in one go, so you are not refilling between cups when there are guests or a full household to serve. Moulded markings on the glass show 0.6L minimum, 1.2L and the 1.8L maximum fill line so you only heat the water you actually need.

See-through glass body: The clear glass jug lets you check the water level and watch the boil without lifting the lid. It also makes it obvious when the inside needs a rinse, which is handy in hard-water areas where scale builds up quickly.

Concealed stainless steel element: The heating element sits under a flat stainless steel plate rather than as an exposed coil. That gives a smooth base that is far easier to wipe clean and descale, and it keeps the metal from sitting directly in the water.

Rated 1850-2200 watts: DSP rates this kettle in the 1850-2200W band, putting it at the higher end for a household kettle, so a full jug comes up to the boil quickly instead of sitting on the counter.

Three layers of safety: The kettle switches itself off as soon as the water boils, cuts power if it is switched on without enough water in it, and has a separate overheat cut-out. A pilot light on the base shows at a glance whether it is still heating.

Pop-up lid for easy filling: Press the button on the handle and the lid springs open, so you can fill and empty the kettle one-handed without putting your fingers near the hot rim.
