The Hisun FM707 is a 2 in 1 baby food processor: one compact motor base that takes a tall blending jug for fruit and vegetables and a small grinding cup for dry spices. It is built for the everyday job of turning a few pieces of fresh fruit into a smooth puree, without hauling out a full-size blender for a couple of spoonfuls.

The wet jug holds 400ml and is moulded with a millilitre scale, so a feed is measured in the jar it is blended in. Both jars run stainless steel blades and lock onto the same base, and the whole thing is driven by a single one touch switch on the front.

Behind that button is a 170W high-powered safety motor with a built-in circuit breaker and an overheat protection system. Hisun lists the appliance as dishwasher safe; wash the jars and lids rather than the motor base. As printed on the carton, keep the appliance away from children — it should never be used without adult supervision.
