Three shapes, three jobs. Corded bagless cleaners take on the whole flat: the Philips XB2023/01 at 1800W, the XB1042/10 at 1200W and the Sonifer SF-2226 with a 1.5L dust container. The DSP KD2063 is cordless, made for the five-minute tidy between proper cleans. The handhelds, the Sonifer SF-2249 and the DSP KD2054, are for the car, the stairs and the sofa cushions.
How to choose
Match the machine to the floor first, then to the run time. A corded cleaner keeps its suction for as long as it is plugged in, which is what tiled floors and rugs ask for; a cordless one trades that for reach, so weigh the charge against the size of your home. Bagless saves buying replacements, but the cup and the filter have to be rinsed, and sand carried in on sandals blocks a filter far quicker than household dust.
