Washing Machines at Night Owl
Front loaders, in a short ladder of drum sizes. The LG FHB1207Z2M holds 7KG, the FHB1208Z2M 8KG and the FHB1209Z2M 9KG, and the Hisun HWM07-01F is a 7KG front loader. There is also a Seven Star trolley, which is the piece people forget: it lifts the machine off a wet floor and lets you roll it out to clean behind.
How to choose
Drum size follows the biggest wash you do, not the average one. 7KG covers a couple or a small flat in Malé; 8KG and 9KG start to pay off once bedding, towels and a family week go in together. Then look at the room, because a front loader wants a level solid floor, a tap within reach and somewhere sensible for the drain hose, and it will walk across tiles if the four feet are not levelled properly.
