Smarki 2 Burner Folding Built-in Gas Stove - SG27551T

The Smarki SG27551T is a two-burner built-in gas stove with a black glass top and fold-up burners. "Folding" refers to the burners, not the stove: each burner sits on a hinge and folds up off the glass, taking its pan support with it. In the listing photo the right-hand burner is folded up, showing its underside and the opening in the glass beneath it.

The point is cleaning. On an ordinary built-in hob, a boil-over runs under the burner and has to be chased out with a cloth. Here the burner lifts out of the way so the space under it can be wiped. Let the burner cool before folding it up, and fold it back down into place before lighting it again.

Each burner has four black pan-support arms fixed round it. The two chrome-finish knobs sit together at the front centre with a small digital display between them. The Smarki name is printed at the bottom left, there is a hot-surface warning symbol beside each burner, and a thin copper-coloured trim runs along the front edge.

The heat output, gas type, overall size and cut-out size are not on this listing yet. Ask us for them before you plan the worktop, as the cut-out has to match the stove. Fitting a built-in gas stove is a job for a qualified gas fitter, and the gas type and pressure the stove is set for are printed on its rating plate, so check them before buying a regulator for it.
