A built-in stove drops into an opening cut in the worktop, so only its glass top and knobs show above the counter. The Smarki SG45909 puts four burners on a tempered glass top and carries a flame failure device, which shuts the gas off if a flame blows out. The SG27518 sets two burners side by side, and the SG23201B is a slim domino with one burner behind the other.

How to choose

Start from the opening in your worktop, or the one you plan to cut, because each model fits only its own cut-out size, listed on its page. Pick the domino SG23201B for a short stretch of counter and the wider SG27518 when two pans should sit next to each other. All three run Sabaf burners and light from a small battery, so nothing needs to plug in under the worktop.
