This page holds three kinds of cooker. Tabletop gas stoves stand on the counter and run from a gas cylinder, such as the Hisun ATB251 in its printed glass designs, the Geepas GK5605 and the Smarki SG27207E. Built-in gas stoves drop into a cut-out in the worktop, from the Hisun AQB202 and AQB259 to the Smarki SG45909 and SG27518. Infrared cookers from Smarki, Hisun and Sonifer heat through a flat glass plate and need only a wall socket.
How to choose
Decide first whether you are cutting the counter. A built-in gas stove is fitted once and stays with the kitchen, while a tabletop gas stove follows the cylinder and can move house with you. Then think about where there is no gas at all: an infrared cooker plugs in anywhere, but it only heats a pan that sits flat on its glass.
