Sanford 2 Burner Tabletop Gas Stove Stainless Steel - SF5356GC

The Sanford SF5356GC is a two-burner tabletop gas stove in stainless steel, with a blue Sanford badge in the middle of the front panel and a knob at each end. It stands on the counter, so there is no worktop to cut.

Each burner is a heavy cast iron head under a brass-coloured, 100 mm Indian-type cap, set in a black bowl. Both are rated at 3.0 kW. Five-ear pan supports sit over each burner, and a recessed panel between the two keeps the pots apart. Auto ignition lights each burner from its own knob.

The stove runs on LPG at 2800 Pa (28 mbar), the pressure a household 30 mbar low-pressure regulator supplies, such as the Longtime C80 that Night Owl sells. Gas consumption is given as 370 g/h. Sanford does not list a flame-failure device for this model, so if a pot boils over and puts a flame out, turn that knob off straight away.

It measures 710 × 370 × 100 mm, so it needs a counter at least 710 mm wide, and its low 100 mm body keeps the pans close to counter height. In stock in Malé at Night Owl.
