Sanford 2 Burner Tabletop Gas Stove Stainless Steel - SF5222GC

The Sanford SF5222GC is a two-burner tabletop gas stove in stainless steel. It stands on the counter, so there is no worktop to cut. Each burner is a heavy cast iron head under a brass-coloured, 100 mm Indian-type cap, sitting in a black bowl with the knobs on the front panel below.

Both burners are rated at 3.0 kW, so neither side is the small one. Five-ear pan supports sit over each burner and hold anything from a small saucepan to a large family pot. Auto ignition lights each burner from its own knob.

The stove runs on LPG at 2800 Pa (28 mbar). That is the pressure a household 30 mbar low-pressure regulator supplies, such as the Longtime C80 that Night Owl sells. Sanford rates its gas consumption at 370 g/h. Sanford does not list a flame-failure device for this model, so if a pot boils over and puts a flame out, turn that knob off straight away.
