Description
The Philips BHD308/10 is the two-attachment model in the 3000 Series, and that is the distinction worth understanding when choosing between it and its close sibling the BHD300/10.
Both share the same core: 1600 W, a DC motor, three heat and speed settings, ThermoProtect, a cool air burst, a folding handle and a 1.8 m cord. The BHD308/10 ships with the ThermoProtect attachment and a separate slim 14 mm styling nozzle. That gives you two distinct tools — one tuned for gentle everyday drying, one for concentrated styling — rather than a single attachment doing both jobs.
ThermoProtect handles the everyday problem. Drying fast normally means high heat, and high heat costs condition. The attachment mixes warm and cool air so the temperature reaching your hair drops by up to 10 °C, while the airflow keeps working — a gentler dry that does not take longer.
The slim 14 mm nozzle is the styling half. It squeezes the airflow into a narrow directed stream, which is the requirement for lifting at the root, smoothing one section around a brush, or shaping a fringe deliberately rather than just drying it.
The DC motor underpins both. It is the quieter, longer-lasting motor type, and it is unusual to find one at this output and price — you notice it in the noise level immediately and in the lifespan later.
A folding handle and hanging hook cover storage, and standby draw is under 0.3 W. In stock in Malé.
