Hair dryers at Night Owl
Philips and Panasonic hold most of this page. Philips runs 1000W and 1200W DryCare and Essential Care dryers (HP8108, BHC010/10, BHC015/00) up through 1600W and 2100W models (BHD308/10, BHD340/10). Panasonic covers 1200W, the ionity line at 1800W and 2000W (EH-NE27, EH-NE66) and quieter 1300W and 1500W units. Geepas and Sonifer make the wall-mounted dryers.
How to choose
Wattage buys speed, not gentleness. A 1000W or 1200W dryer is plenty for short hair, a travel bag or a fast morning; 1800W and above earns its place on long, thick hair that otherwise takes twenty minutes. If noise is the real problem, the low-noise Panasonic models are the ones to look at.
