Panasonic 2000W ionity Hair Dryer - EH-NE66

The Panasonic EH-NE66 is the highest-output dryer Panasonic makes in this range: 2000 W of draw delivering roughly the drying performance of a 2300 W unit. Thick or long hair comes down to a manageable dry in fewer passes, which is the whole point of a high-output dryer.

What sets it apart from the other ionity models is where the ions come out. Rather than firing them through the hot barrel, Panasonic sites the ion outlet outside and above the nozzle. The ions are not cooked by the heater on the way out, so more of them actually reach the hair, where they knock down static and keep the surface smooth and glossy.

The 11 mm concentrator nozzle is the other half of the argument. Its narrow slot squeezes airflow into a tight, directed stream, and paired with a round brush that is what gives you a proper salon-style blow-out, root lift, or a smooth deliberate finish on one section at a time.

Three airflow settings give enough range to move from rough-drying to controlled finishing. A turbo position takes the bulk of the dry, heat protection produces warm rather than hot air for once hair is mostly dry or when working across the scalp, and a cool-shot button on the handle sets the style at the end. When you are done the handle folds flat against the body so the dryer stores compactly.
