Description
The Panasonic EH-ND57P is the concentrator-nozzle model in Panasonic's low-noise 1500 W range, and the nozzle is the reason to pick it over its siblings.
Most dryers in this class ship with a wide "set" nozzle that spreads air across a broad area — good for rough-drying, useless for styling. The EH-ND57P comes with an 11 mm concentrator instead: a narrow slot that squeezes the airflow into a tight, directed stream. Used with a round brush, that is what lets you lift at the root, smooth one section at a time and finish with a deliberate shape rather than just dry hair.
It runs at 55 dB on the Set position, which is quiet for a full 1500 W dryer — usable late at night or in a shared bathroom without waking anyone. Three airflow selections and two temperatures give six combinations: Turbo for taking out the bulk of the water, Set for controlled styling, and Cool to lock the finish in place.
Heat protection mode is the setting worth knowing about. It produces warm rather than hot air, and it is what you switch to once hair is mostly dry — the point at which more heat stops helping and starts costing you condition.
The handle folds for storage, so it packs into a drawer or a case rather than needing a shelf of its own. In stock in Malé.
