Description
The Philips BHD340/10 is the high-output model in this range, and the reason to choose it is straightforward: 2100 W of airflow, with two attachments that stop that power from costing you condition.
Raw wattage matters more than it sounds. Moving a lot of air through thick or long hair is what actually shortens a dry, and a shorter dry means less total time under heat. The trade is that high-output dryers are usually the harshest, which is where the ThermoProtect attachment comes in — it blends the hot stream with cooler air and holds the temperature about 15 °C below the standard setting, so everyday drying stays gentler without dragging on.
Six heat and speed combinations give you the range to use that power sensibly: high and fast to take out the bulk of the water, low and slow to finish or to work on finer hair. A cool air setting closes the job — a cool shot at the end helps a blow-dry hold its shape rather than dropping as the hair cools naturally.
The second attachment is the 14 mm styling nozzle, and it is the styling half of the pair. It narrows the airflow into a directed stream that goes exactly where you point it, which is what smoothing a section around a brush or tidying a fringe actually requires.
Underneath it all is a DC motor, quieter and longer-lived than the AC motors usual at this output. A 1.8 m cord gives room to move around a mirror, and a hanging hook means it can live on a hook rather than in a drawer. In stock in Malé.
