Chillers and Display Showcases at Night Owl

Glass-fronted cooling for a shop counter or a café: the Apex 700L upright chiller for bottled and canned drinks, and Geepas glass showcase freezers at 260L and 360L for ice cream, frozen snacks and packed fish. These are display cabinets first — the stock is meant to be seen and reached by the customer, not tucked away in the back.

The first decision is chiller or freezer. A chiller holds drinks and dairy just above freezing and is built for a door that gets opened all day; a showcase freezer runs well below and is for anything that has to stay solid. Then think about heat. A glass door standing in a hot shopfront makes the compressor work far harder, so keep the cabinet out of direct sun and leave the ventilation gap the rating plate asks for.
