LED bulbs and light fittings

LED lighting is what most households move to when an old filament bulb or a flickering tube gives up. The same brightness comes off a fraction of the current, and the glass stays cool to the touch.

Fitting first: a bayonet cap and a screw cap are not interchangeable, so check the holder before choosing. Then colour — warm white for a bedroom or sitting room, cool white where you need to see what you are doing.
