Night Owl is the sole distributor for Rexyy in the Maldives, and the line that moves through the shop is laundry liquid in a 5L jerrycan. It is a bulk size, meant for a household that runs the machine most days rather than the small bottle you replace every other week.

Liquid detergent dissolves at the temperature a machine here actually washes at, so it rinses clear of thick cotton instead of leaving grit in the seams. Dose it by the load rather than by eye — over-dosing is what leaves towels stiff and a film around the drum — and pour it into the dispenser drawer instead of straight onto the clothes.
