Samsung at Night Owl
Samsung on this page is television and sound. Two Crystal UHD 4K sets are here, the 55" DU8000 (UA55DU8000FUXTW) and the 75" DU8100 (UA75DU8100), both running Tizen so the apps live on the set rather than in a box beside it. For sound there is the HW-B450F 2.1CH soundbar and the MX-T40, a 300W sound tower.
Screen size and sound
Screen size follows viewing distance more than room size. Where the sofa sits about three metres back, 55" fills the wall without making you turn your head, while 75" wants a longer room or a sightline you can step away from. The bar and the tower are not alternatives either: a 2.1CH bar sits under the set and rescues dialogue, and the tower is a party speaker built to carry outdoors.
