Hisun Range Hoods
Hisun range hoods at Night Owl
Two 60cm hoods that differ only in how they mount. CT306 is the telescopic one: the body hides inside the wall cabinet and a front panel pulls out over the hob while you cook, then pushes back flush. CB211 is the under-cabinet slab that screws flat to the underside of the cupboard and stays there. Both pull steam and the smell of fried fish out of the room before either settles on the ceiling.
How to choose
Start with the cabinet rather than the hood. A telescopic body needs depth inside the unit above the hob, while an under-cabinet hood only needs a flat surface to screw into, which is why it is usually the answer in a kitchen that is already built. Then work out whether the duct can genuinely reach outside, because a hood venting into a closed cupboard moves air around without removing anything from the room.
- CT306 telescopic and CB211 under-cabinet, both 60cm
- Ducted extraction through a round flue
- Metal grease filters that lift out by hand for washing
- Push-button controls and a lamp over the hob
