Panasonic Kettle at Night Owl
One Panasonic kettle is stocked here, the 1.7L NC-K101 jug kettle. It belongs to the same kitchen line as the mixer grinders and rice cookers, and it does the plain job an electric kettle is bought for: fill, boil, click off, pour.
What matters in a kettle
Three things separate a kettle that lasts from one that annoys you. A concealed element is easier to wipe out than an exposed coil and gives limescale less to cling to. A lid that opens wide enough for a hand and a brush is worth more than anything printed on the box. And a boil-dry cut-out earns its keep in a kitchen where somebody switches the kettle on before checking the water.
- NC-K101 1.7L jug kettle from the Panasonic kitchen range
- Look for a concealed element and a lid you can get a hand into
