Preethi is an Indian kitchen name, and what Night Owl has carried under it are mixer grinders: multi-jar machines built for wet masala, dry spice and chutney rather than smoothies. They are geared for South Asian cooking, which asks a motor to grind soaked rice and dhal, not just crush ice.
