Prestige Tawa
Prestige tawa for roti, dosa and paratha
Four tawa across two sizes. The Everyday Concave Tawa at 25CM (37291) dishes gently towards the middle, so ghee and batter gather where the heat is strongest. The Omni Tawa is here at 25cm (36717) and 28cm (37277), and a non-stick roti tawa at 28cm takes a full-size chapati without the edge hanging over.
A concave surface suits anything cooked in a film of oil — paratha, uttapam, an egg — because nothing runs to the rim. A flat 28cm pan gives you room to turn a big roti in one movement, and it is the one to reach for if dosa is the real reason you are buying a tawa. Either way, let the pan come up to temperature slowly on a medium flame before the first bread goes on.
- Concave and flat profiles, at 25CM and 28cm
- Non-stick roti tawa sized for a full chapati
- Turn with wood or silicone; a metal spatula scores the coating
- Wipe out while still warm rather than scouring it cold
