Samsung 300W Sound Tower Party Speaker - MX-T40

300W of High Power Audio: The MX-T40 is the compact tower in Samsung's Sound Tower line, built to turn a room or a small yard into a party from a single plug. Its 300W output drives 4 inch mid-woofers and 2.25 inch tweeters loud enough for a birthday, a gathering or a small function, with no amplifier, mixer or speaker stands to set up.

Bi-Directional Sound: Samsung's bi-directional design fires the speakers in two directions instead of one, so the sound spreads through the room rather than beaming at whoever is standing in front of it. Everyone hears the same mix at the same level, which is what matters when people are moving around.

Party Lighting and DJ Effects: Five lighting modes, Party, Ambient, Dance, Thunderbolt and Star, pulse through the driver rings in time with the music. Five DJ effects (Noise, Filter, Crush, Chorus and Wah-Wah) plus a one-touch Bass Booster and eight sound modes let you shape the room's energy on the fly from the top panel, the remote or your phone.

Two Phones Paired at Once: Bluetooth Multi Connection keeps two phones connected at the same time, so one guest can line up the next track while another is still playing, with no re-pairing and no gap in the music. A USB port and a 3.5 mm analog input cover everything else, and the aptX codec keeps wireless streaming clean.

Group Play and App Control: When one tower is not enough, Group Play links several Sound Towers together over cable or wirelessly for a bigger, wider sound. The Samsung Sound Tower app on Android or iOS controls the lighting, the effects and the EQ from across the room, and a remote is in the box for everything else.

Easy to Move, Easy to Live With: At 6.77 kg the MX-T40 is genuinely portable for a tower this loud, so it travels between the house, the boat and the function hall without help. The top panel is water resistant, so an accidental splash or a set-down drink does not end the night, and the controls sit on top where you can reach them without crouching.

Note on karaoke: the MX-T40 has no microphone jack. If you need a wired karaoke mic input, the 500W MX-T50 is the model that has one.
