Dessini 32cm Double Fry Pan - Tawa

The Royal Dessini 32 cm double fry pan is two pans joined by a hinge: close it over fish, chicken, sandwiches or vegetables, cook one side, then turn the whole pan over to cook the other without lifting the food out. This is the black speckled-marble version, with the Royal Dessini name printed on the lid.

A food-grade silicone ring seals the two halves together and a magnetic touch lock holds them shut, so oil and smoke stay inside when the pan is flipped. The inside is a marble-look non-stick coating, and the base has a spiral bottom for spreading the heat.

Use wooden or silicone tools rather than metal, wash it by hand with a soft sponge, and let it cool before it goes under the tap. Scratches and sudden cold water are what wear a non-stick coating out early.

The 32 cm is the smallest of the three Dessini double fry pans at Night Owl, which also come in 36 cm and 40 cm.
