Dessini 36cm Double Fry Pan - Tawa

The Dessini 36 cm double fry pan is two non-stick pans joined by a hinge: close it over fish, chicken, kebabs or vegetables, cook one side, then turn the whole pan over to cook the other. The pan measures 36 × 26 cm, and 45 cm long with the handle.

One half has raised grill ribs and the other a flatter surface. A red silicone seal runs round the rim and a magnetic catch holds the two halves shut, so heat, moisture and oil stay inside when the pan is flipped, and a steam vent lets excess steam out.

Use wooden or silicone tools rather than metal, wash it by hand with a soft sponge, and let it cool before it goes under the tap. Scratches and sudden cold water are what wear a non-stick coating out early.

It is listed for gas and electric stoves. It is the middle size of the three Dessini double fry pans at Night Owl (32, 36 and 40 cm).
