Longtime 30 mbar Low Pressure Gas Regulator - C80

The Longtime C80 is the regulator that sits between an LPG cylinder and a household gas stove. Gas inside the cylinder is stored under several bar of pressure, far too much for a cooking burner. The C80 brings it down to a steady 30 mbar and holds it there, so the flame stays even from a full cylinder to the last of the gas.

The one thing to check before buying is the stove's rating plate or manual. If it says 30 mbar, this is the regulator for it. The outlet is fixed, which is exactly what a household appliance wants: there is no dial, and nothing to turn up by mistake. Burners built for high pressure, such as commercial wok burners and large catering rings, are a different job and need an adjustable high-pressure regulator like the Longtime C70 instead.

It clips onto the cylinder valve rather than screwing on, which makes changing cylinders quick. Use LPG-rated hose on the outlet, secure it with hose clips at both ends, and replace the hose as soon as it looks cracked or feels hard.

Check every new connection for leaks with soapy water or liquid detergent brushed over the joints, never with a match or a naked flame.
