The Hisun H-IF024 is a 2000W portable infrared cooker under an unpolished black crystal panel. Because it heats by infrared and not induction, the pots already in the kitchen work on it — ceramic, glass, stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, whatever is to hand.

Everything is set on a flat touch panel: ten stages of power and temperature, a timer, and a child lock, with the current setting reading out in red LED. The body measures 280 × 406 × 62 mm, so it sits on a worktop or goes away in a cupboard between meals.

A three-hour timer, a child lock, and overheat and overflow protection cover the everyday risks. It runs on ordinary 220–240V household power through a 1.5 m lead and a fitted BS 3-pin plug.
