Description
The Panasonic NA-F75LR1MRB is the 7.5 kg model in Panasonic's 2024 LR1 series of fully automatic top loaders, finished in Middle Free Silver — a silver-grey cabinet under a black top deck. A 7.5 kg drum is proper family capacity: a full day's clothes for a household of four, or a bedsheet load, in one cycle rather than two.
Day to day it works the way a good top loader should: lift the lid, load it, pick one of eight programmes and let it run. The digital display counts down the time left, the water level offers five steps from 20 to 42 litres so small loads use small water, and everything is driven from a flat-key panel with a press-and-hold child lock. A delay timer starts the wash hours later, and if the power blips — as it does — the Restart function picks the cycle up from where it stopped instead of starting over.
Water and power are where this machine earns its keep. It holds the top 5-star band on the 2024 energy label at 0.0093 kWh per kg per cycle, and Aqua Spin Rinse rinses the load by showering it through a spin rather than refilling the tub, bringing rated water use down to 16.0 litres per kg per cycle. The water inlet itself carries Panasonic's Ag Clean silver-ion antibacterial treatment.
Two things worth knowing before you buy. This model washes in cold water only — there is no internal heater, which is the norm for top loaders in this class and no drawback in a warm climate. And the Air Dry programme is a 90-minute unheated spin-air cycle that leaves clothes noticeably drier and faster to line-dry; it is not a heated tumble dryer.
Installation is straightforward: the machine stands 52.5 cm wide and 57.1 cm deep, needs clearance above for the lid, and connects with the inlet and drain pipes supplied in the box. The cabinet is splash-protected to IPX4, and the included rat cover closes off the base — fit it when the machine is installed, not after the first chewed hose. At 29 kg it moves up a stairway with two people.
