Geepas 2 Burner Tabletop Gas Stove - GK5602

The Geepas GK5602 is a two-burner tabletop gas stove with an 8 mm tempered glass top over a stainless steel body. The glass shades from black at the back to red at the front, with fine horizontal stripes and a red calla lily print between and beside the burners. The two knobs sit on the stainless steel front below the glass, one under each burner.

The two burners are different sizes, 70 mm and 90 mm, so one suits a saucepan or a slow simmer and the other a large pot. Both are brass, fed through a heavy cast iron mixing tube, and each sits in a stainless steel tray under a black pan support.

Ignition is piezo: turning a knob fires the spark that lights the burner, so there is no match, lighter or battery to deal with. The stove stands on the counter on short feet and needs no cut-out.

It is rated for LPG at 2800 Pa (28 mbar), so it runs through a 30 mbar low-pressure regulator such as the Longtime C80 that Night Owl sells. Geepas does not list a flame-failure device for the GK5602, so if a flame goes out, turn that knob off before lighting it again. Tempered glass takes cooking heat, but a hard knock can still break it, so set heavy pots down gently.
