Description
The Panasonic MX-GA3350 NutriTurbo is the three-jar version of Panasonic's compact personal blender range. Same one-button operation and the same six-blade stainless steel cutter as the smaller model, but with a jar set that stretches from a 300 ml spice grind up to two 900 ml jars — enough to blend for a family rather than for one.
The three jars each have a job. The 300 ml jar grinds dry: pepper, cumin, coffee, a quick chutney paste. The 900 ml juicer and puree jar handles the volume work — juices, smoothies, soups, baby purees. The second 900 ml jar takes a sipper lid, which turns it into a travel cup; you blend, fit the lid and go, with nothing to wash but the jar.
About the power figure: Panasonic quotes 600 W as the maximum motor locked wattage, the Indian-market convention for describing peak load on a mixer motor, while the rated continuous power is 350 W. It is one motor described two ways, and you will meet both numbers online.
Worth knowing before you buy. This is a nutri-style blender, so it excels at juices, shakes, purees and small dry grinds, but it is not a heavy-duty wet grinder for large batches of idli or dosa batter. The jars are polycarbonate, not glass — light and unbreakable, but they want a soft sponge and a hand wash rather than an abrasive pad. Let the motor rest for a minute between long back-to-back runs.
This is the light blue colourway with the full three-jar set. The same MX-GA3350 is also made in bronze, and the two-jar MX-GA2350 covers the same ground in a smaller set if you mostly blend for one. In stock in Malé at Night Owl.
