The Philips MG3721/65 is the 7-in-1 model in the Multigroom Series 3000 — a single cordless handle that trims face, hair and body, plus a dedicated attachment for nose and ear hair.

Seven pieces make up the kit: the self-sharpening cutting element, a nose and ear trimmer, and five reinforced cutting guards at 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm and 9 mm. That range is the useful part — 1 and 2 mm for stubble, 3 and 5 mm for a shaped beard, and 9 mm for a short back-and-sides. Pull the guards off entirely and the bare blade edges your beard line and neckline.

The blades are iron-reinforced tempered steel and sharpen themselves as they cut, so they hold their edge instead of going blunt after a few months. They are non-corrosive and never need oiling, which means no maintenance products to buy later.

One charge gives up to 60 minutes of cordless trimming. Be aware this is the Ni-MH generation, so a full charge takes 16 hours — plug it in overnight rather than counting on a quick top-up before you head out. Automatic 100–240 V voltage means it charges on any mains supply.

Cleaning is quick: the guards are water-resistant and rinse under the tap, and a cleaning brush is included for the cutting element. Brush the handle clean rather than rinsing it, and let the parts dry before you reattach them.
