Description
The Philips BRT383 is the BikiniGenie model in the Bikini Trimmer 2000 Series — a compact, cordless trimmer made specifically for the bikini area, where a full-size body trimmer is the wrong shape for the job.
The head is small on purpose. It lets you shape and follow a line closely, and with no comb fitted it trims down to roughly 0.5 mm — short enough to look tidy without shaving. The blade tips are rounded rather than square, which is the detail that keeps it from nicking sensitive skin.
Two click-on combs at 3 mm and 5 mm handle the times you want an even trimmed length rather than the shortest possible finish. And when you do want smooth, a mini shaving head is included in the box — click it on after trimming and you get a clean finish without reaching for a separate razor.
It runs on a single AA alkaline battery, which is included. That is worth being clear about: this is a battery-operated trimmer, not a rechargeable one. The upside is that there is nothing to charge, nothing to plug in, and it works the moment you pick it up — which makes it genuinely easy to travel with. The downside is that you will want a spare AA in the drawer rather than a charging cable.
For hygiene, the head is washable and rinses under the tap, and a cleaning brush is included. Let it dry fully before reattaching.
