Description
The Dessini 22 cm fry pan holds 1 litre and is the largest of the three sizes of this pan, after the 18 cm and 20 cm: room for a family omelette, fried fish for two or three, or a full pan of vegetables. Inside, the black non-stick coating is pressed in a honeycomb pattern; outside, the pan is finished in red with fine vertical stripes.
The body is aluminium, which heats up quickly and keeps the pan light. A spiral-grooved metal plate covers the base, and the black bakelite handle stays cooler to hold than metal, with a hole at the end for hanging.
Use wooden or silicone tools rather than metal, wash it by hand with a soft sponge, and let it cool before it goes under the tap. Scratches and sudden cold water are what wear a non-stick coating out early.
No cooktop rating is given on the 22 cm listing (the 18 cm and 20 cm are listed for gas), so ask us before using it on an induction hob.
