Sonifer Body Fat Scale

This Sonifer body fat scale is built around the component that actually matters on a scale: a high-precision strain gauge sensor.

That is the part that turns your weight into a number, and it is where cheap scales fail. A poor sensor gives you a different reading each time you step on, which makes the scale useless for tracking anything — you cannot tell a real change from measurement noise. A good strain gauge repeats, and repeatability is the whole value of owning one.

The platform is approximately 4 mm of tempered glass. That thickness is deliberate: toughened glass at 4 mm has the strength to take an adult's weight repeatedly without flexing, which keeps the sensor reading true, while staying thin enough to store upright against a wall.

A clear LCD shows the reading in large digits you can see while standing straight. Automatic on/off means there is no switch — step on and it wakes, step off and it powers down to save the battery. Low battery and overload indicators are the useful safeguards: they tell you when to stop trusting the reading, rather than letting a dying battery quietly report a wrong number.

Two notes in the interest of accuracy. Sonifer does not publish a model number for this scale, so it is listed by name only — worth knowing if you need to order a matching one later. And the maximum capacity and battery type are not published either, so we have not quoted them; check the box or ask us before ordering if that matters for your use.
