Sonifer Hair Trimmer - SF-9594

The Sonifer SF-9594 is a cordless trimmer aimed at regular home use, and its standout figure is runtime: a 600 mAh lithium battery delivers about 1.5 hours of cutting from a 2-hour charge. That ratio is unusual — most trimmers in this bracket take longer to charge than they run.

The cutter head is stainless steel and removable. That second part is the practical one. Trimmed hair packs into a cutting head quickly, and being able to lift the head straight off turns cleaning into a few seconds of work rather than a fight with a brush through a fixed housing.

Charging is USB plug and play, so any USB source will do, and the trimmer accepts AC 100–240 V at 50/60 Hz — it will charge anywhere. It is also built to run quietly, which is a genuine consideration if you cut your own or your children's hair at home.

The accessories are the ones that actually matter for a steel-bladed trimmer rather than filler. A bottle of blade oil is included, and periodic oiling is what keeps a cutter head slicing cleanly instead of dragging. A knife sleeve protects the head in storage, and a cleaning brush handles the day-to-day.

Worth noting on cleaning: the cutter head is removable for brushing out, but this model does not carry a published waterproof rating, so brush it clean rather than rinsing it under the tap.
