Sonifer Hair Clipper - SF-9604

The Sonifer SF-9604 is a straightforward rechargeable clipper built around four replaceable heads. That is the feature worth buying it for: rather than fitting plastic guide combs over one blade, you change the head itself to change how it cuts, which covers a wider range of work from a single handle.

The blades are pure steel and self-sharpening, so they keep their edge as they work instead of going blunt after a few months. Combined with a 6 W motor running from a 5 V supply, it has enough to handle regular home cutting without labouring.

An LCD display shows the clipper's status, which removes the usual guesswork about whether there is enough charge left to finish. Operation is deliberately simple — plug and play, no setup, nothing to configure.

The housing pairs metal through the working parts with a plastic body, keeping the weight manageable for longer sessions while avoiding the hollow feel of an all-plastic clipper.

Two honest notes. Sonifer does not publish battery capacity, charging time or runtime figures for this model, so we are not going to quote numbers we cannot stand behind — what we can say is that it is rechargeable and cordless in use. And there is no published waterproof rating, so clean the head with the included brush rather than rinsing it under the tap.
