The Sonifer SF-1915 is a body fat analyzer scale, which means it is measuring more than the number most scales give you.

Weight on its own is a poor guide to progress. It moves with hydration, with the time of day, and with whether you have eaten — and it cannot distinguish muscle gained from fat lost. Electronic body composition sensors give you the figure underneath, which is what tells you whether a training or diet change is doing what you intended.

It measures from 0.2 kg up to 180 kg. The high end covers any adult; the low end means the scale is sensitive enough to register genuinely light loads and small fluctuations between weeks rather than rounding them away.

The platform is tempered glass on a sturdy plastic base — slim, stable underfoot, and easy to wipe clean in a bathroom. Automatic on/off wakes it as you step on and shuts it down when idle, which is what stretches two AAA batteries across months rather than weeks. Those batteries are included, along with the manual, so nothing is needed before the first use.

It comes in black or white, which keeps it from looking like medical equipment in a bathroom or bedroom.
