The Sonifer SF-9555 is a T-blade trimmer, and that is the whole point of it. A T-shaped blade extends past the housing on both sides, so you can lay it flat against skin and cut a genuinely hard line — along a hairline, around a beard, across a neckline. Rounded clipper blades cannot do that; they leave a soft edge because the housing gets in the way. If you want the crisp outline a barber gives you, this is the blade shape that produces it.

Three positioning combs at 3 mm, 6 mm and 9 mm handle everything that is not an edge — general trimming, and stepping between lengths when you are blending.

The 600 mAh lithium battery charges in 90 minutes and gives a full hour of running. Indicators tell you when it is fully charged and when it is running low, which is more than many trimmers at this price bother with. It accepts 110–240 V input, so charging works on any supply.

The two accessories are well chosen for this kind of tool. The long-handled brush actually reaches inside a T-blade housing, where hair collects and a short brush cannot get. And the oil bottle matters: a T-blade lives or dies on its edge, and a few drops of oil periodically is the difference between a blade that glides and one that starts pulling.

Note that Sonifer publishes no waterproof rating for this model, so brush and oil the blade rather than rinsing it under the tap.
