Sonifer Hair Trimmer - SF-9564

The Sonifer SF-9564 is a compact cordless trimmer, and the specification that matters most on it is the IPX5 rating. That means it is rated against water jets — you can rinse it clean under the tap rather than picking hair out with a brush. On a trimmer used every few days, being able to rinse it is what keeps it hygienic and working, and plenty of trimmers at this price cannot.

The 600 mAh battery gives up to 70 minutes of running time from a 2.5-hour charge. For touch-ups and regular tidying — which is what a trimmer this size is for — that is several weeks of use between charges.

A digital display reports status directly, so you can check the battery before starting instead of finding out midway. The 5 W motor is sized honestly for the job: this is a trimmer for maintenance and detail work, not a clipper for cutting a full head of thick hair.

The body pairs metal through the working parts with a plastic housing, which keeps it light enough to travel with comfortably and small enough to pack without thinking about it.

One clarification worth making, because the old listing was ambiguous: IPX5 means water-resistant and washable, not submersible. Rinse it under a running tap, shake it out and let it dry — but do not soak it or take it into the shower.
